Clark H. Rowles

Mr. Clark H. Rowles, 69, Warren, PA passed away at 10:23 PM, Sunday, September 13, 2009 at the Rouse Home, Youngsville, PA.

He was born on Sept. 29, 1939 in New Millport a son of the late Lynn and Beryl (Richner) Rowles.

Mr. Rowles served in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1964 as a Sergeant in ordnance.

He was employed at Struthers Wells in Warren for 29 years and at National Forge Co, in Irvine for 9 years.

He was a life member of the John Branic VFW Post 8822, Madera and the American Legion Post # 135 Warren, PA

He is survived by four sons, Jeffery C. Rowles of Lancaster, SC., Brian K. Rowles and his wife Kelley of Monroe, NC., Timothy W. Rowles and his companion Tracy Acklin of Warren, and Douglas R. Rowles of Concord, NC.

Mr. Rowles is survived by 7 grandchildren, Adria M. Rowles, Gabriel J. Rowles, Jonathan A. Rowles, Aubrey P. Rowles, Nathaniel C. Rowles, Jacqueline D. Rowles and Zachary Rowles. Three great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine Y. Chase Rowles in April 2008. He also was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Laura Phillips, Orlena Howe and Bessie Orehowsky; six brothers, Oden Rowles, Joseph Rowles, Edgar Rowles, Allen Rowles, Lindsey "Tootie" Rowles and Ray Rowles.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM and on Thursday from 11 AM - 2 PM a t the Kruise Funeral Home, Inc. Madera.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 17 at 2:00 PM in the Kruise Funeral Home, Inc with Pastor Charles M. Lee, Jr officiating. Interment will be in the Fruit Hill Cemetery, Jordan Twp. with Military Honors.
