Joseph Zazworsky

Mr. Joseph Zazworsky, 77, of Smithmill died at 10:45 PM, Saturday, September 26th, 2009 at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.

Born on February 21, 1932 in Smithmill, he was the son of the late Wasco C. and Anna (Klesser) Zazworsky.

He graduated from the Madera High School in 1950. On January 12, 1952 he wed the former Shirley E. Stewart in the Ramey United Methodist Parsonage.

He was owner of Zazworsky Greenhouse Smithmill, PA for the past 53 years and a member of
King Valley Golf Course.

Mr. Zazworsky is survived by his wife Shirley of Smithmill, a son Mark S. Zazworsky and his wife Kathleen, a daughter, Melinda S. Beers and her husband Timothy of Smithmill, five grandchildren, Dustin and Katelyn Zazworsky and Kevin, Shannon and Nathaniel Beers. He is also survived by two sisters, Stella Morroni, Naples, FL and Marion Philage of Houtzdale; two brothers Ronald Zazworsky and wife Dottie, of Atlanta, GA, Leon Zazworsky and wife Judy of Columbus, OH and one sister-in-law, Laura Ann Zazworsky, Camp Hill, PA.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, John and Donald Zazworsky.

Friends will be received at the Kruise Funeral Home, Inc., Ramey on Wednesday, September 30 from 5 - 9 p.m. and on Thursday, October 1 from 9 until the time of services at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Thomas A. McCoy officiating.

Internment will follow in the Beulah Cemetery, Ramey, PA.
