Charlotte (Hamm) Molner

Charlotte (Hamm) Molner, 88 , of Stow, OH passed away Monday, October, 19, 2009, at her residence.

She was born on June 12, 1921, in McCartney, a daughter of the late William and Annie (Katcher) Hamm.

On Nov. 4, 1944, in the former Sacred Heart Catholic Church Rectory, Houtzdale, she married Steve R. Molner who preceded her in death on March 20, 1995.

Charlotte is survived by two daughters and a son; Anna Mae Michaels of Blandburg, Elizabeth Bush and her husband Dennis of Hudson, OH, and James Molner and his wife Debra of Madison, OH. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Three sisters survive, Phyllis Raab of Ramey, Edith Mosley of Houtzdale and Shirley Dawson of Philipsburg. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Along with her parents and husband, Charlotte was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister, George Hamm, James Hamm, William Ham, Jr, Edward Hamm and Elizabeth James. One granddaughter and one great granddaughter.

Charlotte was a blessing to those who knew and loved her. She left a legacy of faith, hard work, humor, courage, laughter, love, awesome cooking and devotion to family. She enjoyed crocheting, bowling, card games, an occasional game of chance and she was always anxious to hear 'a good story' (joke). She especially took great pleasure in spending time with family (especially her great grandchildren) and friends. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

Friends will be received on Thursday, Oct. 22 from 6-8 PM and on Friday, Oct. 23, from 8:30 -10:00 AM at the Kruise Funeral Home, Inc. Ramey. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, Oct. 23, at 10:00 AM in the funeral home with Fr. Zab Amar officiating. Interment will follow in Crown Crest Memorial Park, Clearfield.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908 or to the American Lung Association National Headquarters, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave, NW, Suite 800, Washington, DC 2004.
