Bertha F. (Gruda) Shedlock
Mrs. Bertha F. (Gruda) Shedlock, 96, of Richland, GA and formerly of York, PA passed away Friday, Oct. 23, 2009 at the Lillian Carter Nursing Center, Plains, GA.
Mrs. Shedlock was born in Brady, PA on June 28, 1913 a daughter of the late Adam E. and Felicia (Siemucha) Gruda, Sr.
She was a homemaker and worked at Penn Textile of York, PA for a number of years.
Mrs. Shedlock married John A. Shedlock who preceded her in death on June 27, 1967.
She is survived by two sons, John Shedlock of Philadelphia and Walter Shedlock and his wife Delores of Richland, GA.
She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
A sister, Vicki Girosky of Reynoldsville, also survives.
Along with her parents and husband, Mrs. Shedlock was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister, Walter Gruda, Adam E. Gruda, Jr. and Mary Anasti.
Friends will be received on Tue., Oct. 27 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the Kruise Funeral Home, Inc. Ramey.
Funeral Services will be held on Tues., Oct. 27 at 11:00 AM in the Kruise Funeral Home, Inc., Ramey, PA, with Fr. Zab Amar officiating.
Interment will follow in the Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery Ramey, PA.
