Constance H. "Connie" (Majewski) Frostberg

Mrs. Constance H. "Connie" Frostberg, 78, of Houtzdale, passed away at 7:30 AM, Friday, March 5, 2010 at her residence.

She was born on Nov. 20, 1931 in Gary, Indiana a daughter of Stanley and Helen (Hardzinski) Majewski.

She was a homemaker and did clothing alterations for many years.

Mrs. Frostberg was a parishioner of Christ The King Catholic Church, Houtzdale where she was a member of the Rosary Society, Helping Hands, a CCD Teacher for over 40 years, an instructor for the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, a church choir member and was involved in the charismatic movement.

On July 19, 1958 in the former St. Barbara's Catholic Church, Houtzdale, she married Walter E. Frostberg, he preceded her in death on Aug. 24, 2005.

Mrs. Frostberg is survived by three daughters; Angela M. Gmerek and her husband Gerard od Houtzdale, Lisa M. Williams of Osceola Mills and Felicia A. Kitko of Houtzdale.

She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Jessica Ashcroft and her husband Allen, Jared Gmerek, Dustin Emala, Luke Emala, Seth Kitko, Joshua Williams, Olivia Kitko and Hailey Smith. Two great grandchildren survive, Alayna and Jayden Emala.

Two sisters survive, Cynthia Francisko of Philipsburg and Dolores Iannitti of Upper Chichester, PA, a sister-in-law, Eleanor Jean Flaitz of Philipsburg and a brother-in-law, Stanley Fudulski of Gallitzin. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her step mother, Helen (Grudzinski) Majewski, a brother, Eugene Maysky and two sister, Marie Fudulski and Anne Studzinski.

Friends will be received on Sunday, March 7 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM and on Monday, March 8 from 12 Noon - 1:15 PM at the Kruise Funeral Home, Inc, Ramey. The Altar Rosary Society of Christ The King Church will recite the Rosary at 3:30 PM Sunday and a Christian Wake Service will be held Sunday evening the funeral home.

A Funeral Mass with be celebrated on Monday, March 8 at 2:00 PM in Christ The King Catholic Church, Houtzdale with Very Rev. Fr. Gregory A. Kirsch as celebrant. Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Madera. Family request Memorial Donations be made to the CCD Program of Christ The King Church 123 Good St. Houtzdale, PA 16651.
