Joel R. Van Hoesen
Joel R. Van Hoesen, 57, of Smoke Run, passed away at 11:11 AM, Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at the Clearfield Hospital.
He was born on June 12, 1953 in Plainfield, NJ, a son of the later Walter H. and Jean F. (Ryder) Van Heosen, Jr.
He was a 1972 graduate of the Scotch Plains - Fanwood High School and a graduate of the Union County Vocational Technical School, both in Scotch Plains, NJ.
Joel was a self employed machinist. He was a former partner in West Machine Works Inc of Metuchen, NJ from 1985 - 2003. He was presently a partner in JV Associates Inc of Smoke Run and co-owner, with his wife, of Ken's Stop & Shop in Glen Hope. He also was a trustee of the Hegarty's Cross Roads Cemetery Association.
On March 26, 1983 In Scotch Plains, NJ he married Vickie L. (Rumfola) Van Hoesen who survives of Smoke Run.
He is survived by three children; Michelle M. Golembeski of Smoke Run, Daniel E. Pasquariello of New Jersey and Veronica A. Lipscomb and her companion Richard Stone of Bilger.
Joel is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Michael Golembeski, Mathew Martell, Summer Rose Pasquariello, Joshua Wetherson and Virginia Stone.
He is survived by three brothers and a sister; Garrett D. Van Hoesen and his wife Sharon of Palmyra, Jan H. Van Hoesen and his wife Karen of Scotch Plains, NJ., Pieter D. Van Hoesen and his companion Nancy of Pennsylvania and Kathryn Jean Bredlau and her husband Paul of Gloucester, VA.
Joel was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Charles Golembeski, Jr; a granddaughter
Donna Marie Pasquariello and a nephew, Joshua E. Bredlau.
Friends will be received on Friday, July 2 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM and on Saturday, July 3 from 9-11 AM at the Kruise Funeral Home, Inc. Ramey.
Funeral Services on Saturday, July 3, at 11:00 AM in the Kruise Funeral Home, Inc with Rev. Thomas A. McCoy officiating.
Graveside Services will follow in the Hegarty's Crossroads Cemetery, Beccaria Twp.
